330 ml bottle from Gulating Stavanger. Black body with a big, creamy beige head. Wonderful aroma dominated by chocolate malt but also some smooth roasted dark malt and vanilla. Flavor is soft and ultra-smooth dark malt, lots of chocolate malt, vanilla, some dry fruit and toast, moderate bitterness. Fine balanced body, actually quite impressive considering the ABV. Smooth long lasting aftertaste with the same delicious chocolate malt and vanilla flavor. A very impressive, good tasting stout at only 4,7% ABV. A statement from Cervesiam/Arendals bryggeri.

Nice slightly bubbly-creamy mediumlasting head. Aroma is slightly sweet, vanilla, caramel, maple syrup, chocolate, dark malts, dark sugar, hints of cinnamon. Taste is slightly mineraly, grass, minerals, weeds, vanilla, chocolate, paper, spices. Medium bitterness, watery and slightly mineraly mouthfeel. Fair enough.

Opaque dark color with a nice tan head that leaves a fine lacing down the sides of the glass. Good intensity in the aroma. Solid body for a 4,7% beer, and a smooth carbonation level. Nice Christmas spices profile in the flavor. Not overpowdering. Tasty and easy drinkable.

Shared bottle at Yule beer tasting on board Fridtjofen 09.12.16 and 10.12.16. Colour is presumably inspired by the anagram of Seasonal Stash. Aroma of vanilla, molasses, dark chocolate and a hint of spices. Taste of chocolate sauce, still with a hint of spices. A bit waterish.

330ml bottle bought at Gulating, Tromsø. A solid tan-coloured head slowly diminishing over a coal black body with a deep ruby-red shade. Crocheted lacing. Plain cocoa powder aromas. Flavoured with cocoa chocolate with a raw vanilla twist. Vague hints of cinnamon beneath. Roasted bitter endnotes keeping all the sweetness at bay. Fine bodied. Delicately made. Yuletide feel. (Christmas Day, relaxing at home in Tromsø 25.12.2016).

Fra flaske på Maritim Ølsmaking ombord på Fridtjofen des-16 (i så hyggelig selskap at nesten alle ølene smakte riktig godt!): mørkebrun med kveldens mest imponerende skumkvalitet. Aroma og smak er en innertier for de som liker flytende sjokoladepålegg. Et snopeøl som bør nytes i små mengder. Den beskjedne bitterheten greier nesten å balansere sjokoladsødmen.
