Flaska från SB. Cognacsfärgad klar, inget skum. Söt djup doft av torkad frukt särskilt äpplen, sirap. Stor kropp, söta smaker av sirap, karamell och söta päron och äpplen, kanske väl söt men samtidigt både kraftfull och elegant med viss utveckling och fin lång eftersmak.. Men faller på att ha kvar lite för mycket råsötma.

Flaska från SB. Smak och doft av humle, malt, karamell, ljus torkad frukt, sirap med toner av övermogen frukt och marsipan. Lagom sötma, fruktig, lätt kropp, fin beska.

(Bottle, Stockholm Beer & Whisky Festival, 1 Oct 2016) Dark amber colour with brief foamy head. Malty, fruity nose with notes of caramel, dried fruit, candy sugar and vinous notes of Madeira wine. Malty, fruity, vinous taste with dried fruit, caramel, fortified wine, toast, a touch of cinnamon and a gentle bitterness. Almost full body, with a certain sweetness. Slightly boozy, but tasty and well made. Nice one. (7/4/7/4/14=3.6) Rerate: (Bottle, 31 March 2021) Dark amber colour with foamy, brief head. Malty nose with notes of caramel, dried fruit, figs, toffee, orange peel, apples and brown sugar. Malty taste with caramel, toffee, dried figs, red apples, honey, candy sugar and a sweet, vinous finish with low bitterness. More than medium body, sweet. Mainly about sweet malt, fairly straightforward, but tasty and well balanced for this strength. Quite nice.

Bottled:
Pours clear dark amber with a small head. Sweet aroma with notes of fudge, brown sugar, dried fruit and alcohol. Sticky mouth feel. Sweet flavor with notes of fudge, caramel, brown sugar and alcohol.
If you hide this beer in a dark cellar for a couple of years it would probably turn out really good!

330ml Bottle - Copper red in colour. Raisins and caramel in the aroma. Fruity and malty taste with raisins, dates, caramel and a hint of cinnamon.

330ml bottle bought at Systembolaget PK Huset. Clear copper coloured body, shiny naked surface, fragile lacing. Minerals, caramel and dried fruity nose. Blended taste of toffee and dried fruits, marmalade impression. Malt-fruity finish, mid-sweet. Rather flat in the mouth. Satisfying (Hotel room, Stockholm 27.11.2016).

At SBWF 2016. Clear light copper with a small head. Very sweet and a bit vinous with caramel, malt, some dried fruit. The body was almost full and the bitterness was quite low. A bit too sweet for me.
