Draught @ Christianssand Brygghus
Pours hazy golden with a off-white head. Aroma has notes of malt, yeast, orange, alcohol and dried fruits. Taste is medium sweet and light to medium bitter with a long warm, malty, yeasty, fruity, bitter and boozy finish. Body is full, texture is oily, carbonation is soft.

Draught, taster 100ml at Cafe Sara. White layer, a slight haze to an amber coloured body. Crocheted lacing. Moderate sweet fruity on the nose, hints of yeast. Sweet malt-fruity taste profile containing apricot, Belgian yeast and honeyed malts, jam-like impression. Semi-sweet malt-fruity ending, mostly hidden alcohol. Fine bodied and smooth on the swallow. Quite alright, just a little too sweet for me (Oslo 09.11.2016).

On tap at Christianssand Brygghus. It’s a hazy golden colored beer with a dense, white, finger thick head leaving some curtains. The aroma is a tad alcoholic, but mostly on the fruity side. Some apple and pear, a touch of grassy hops and a peppery yeast hint. It’s full bodied, lightly warming and quite smooth on the palate, semi sweet, but far from cloying. There’s a fine bitterness dealing with what sweetness is left, some grassy hop flavor too, but the fruityness is the most dominant flavor. Long fruity and lightly warming finish. Not bad in any way this one, but it needs more complexity or dryness due to the alcohol and body. 161026

On tap @ the brewpub. Unclear orange/amber body with a big off-white head. Aroma is mild malty, dry fruit, marmalade and Belgium yeast. Flavor is sweet malty, dry fruit with a hint of honey and yeast. Moderate bitterness. Full bodied and sweet aftertaste. Decent but a bit too much on the sweeter side for my likings. Could not detect any lemongrass.
