750ml swing-top bottle bought at Pivovarsky Klub. A coal black body under a fading, fawn-coloured head. Spotty lacing to the glassware. Mid-sweet malty aroma with a scent of coffee. Dark malty taste containing liquorice, black chocolate and coffee. Hints of citrus shells towards the ending. Smooth on the swallow. Fine bodied. Enjoying (Hotel room, Prague 28.06.2016).

(Bottle, 0.75 l - BB 10-07-2016, from Pivovarský Klub, 20160707) The beer poured clear and nearly black. Its head was medium sized and lightly brown. Aroma had burnt malts, coffee and chocolate. Palate was medium bodied with medium carbonation. Flavours were burnt malts, chocolate, lactic sourness, coffee and bitterness. Aftertaste had burnt malts, sourness and bitterness. A quite good porter but the sourness was confusing.

Točené v Pivovarském Klubu: As black as ink, smaller stable and creamy tanned head; dried dark berries and an illusion of coffee and chocolate in the toasty/ roasty nose; moderate bitter-sweet flavour with a slight acidity, medium bodied and soft; lingering fruity and toasty finish, more bitter than sweet, but not too dry and fortunately only with a delicate sourness. Pretty good…

Draught at Pivní rozmanitost. Dark brown to black colored. AROMA- roasted malts, chocolate, alcohol. FLAVOR- neutral, pleasantly bitter, roasted malts and chocolate again, somewhat harsh note of alcohol. Full bodied.
Good.

Tap at the brewery. Aroma coffeeish, roasted, dark caramel. Clear very dark colour. Stable brown head. Taste is very sweet, coffee, fruity, lots of caramel. I would like a bit less of sweetness, but good nevertheless. Slightly ashy.
