Poured from the tap (ABV listed as 8.6%). Clear-ish gold with small white head. Bourbon and oak with mild wild honey. Fairly oak forward. Decent.

On tap at the brewery, 9.8% abv listed. Has okay medium gold body with modest foam. Smells of excellent boozy yeast, bourbony mead notes galore. Flavour is really good bourbon character, soft sweet wood, honey sweetness. Smooth and rich finish with no sign of the alcohol. A standout.

Uglyish dirty blonde, thin head, big coffee, random complexity I’m having trouble identifying. Good but messy.

On tap at Hopwired, pours an opaque cloudy orange with a small white head. Aroma brings out fermented out honey, a little coffee, and some woody notes. Flavour is full of barrels upfront, with lots of woody barrels, lots of coffee, and fermented out honey. Lots of integrated flavours done well. Big brutal beer that works well.
