Dry, drinkable and crisp, the balanced hop profile is supported by a gently biscuity malt backbone which fades to a refreshingly crisp finish.

440ml can shared with Margie on the train from Shrewsbury to Ludlow on 23rd April 2024 (48 years to the day, since we met in 1976). Light golden body, full on white head. Nice enough Lager, semi-sweet malty front with a mini-citrus feel towards the finish.

440mll can from Beer Park. Gluten Free. Pale gold colour, white foam head and aroma of malt, grain, citric hop. Taste is sweet malty, grainy, straw, with some grassy bitterness. Medium bodied, soft carbonation, drying grassy bitter finish. OK.

Can from RHS Wisley shop as Thoughtful Forager Crisp Golden Lager. Aroma is sweet and bread with some citrus plus milky sourness. Light gold. Thin foamy translucent white head. Medium citrus + herbs sourness. Slight bitter edge. Underlying bread + glue sweetness then steps forward. Yeah, it's gluey. Light bodied. Slick. Soft carbonation. Long dry astringent finish. Not too sweet, however it's not particularly pleasent. Off notes.
