A limited edition Champagne beer with a smooth body and flavours of vanilla and orange zest, punctuated with lively bubbles that give way to a long dry finish. Perfect to toast in the return of the roaring 20s!

(Keg at Black Door, 20210305) The beer poured golden and hazy. Its head was medium sized and white. Aroma had fruitiness, spiciness and floralness. Palate was medium bodied with medium carbonation. Flavours were fruitiness, spiciness, floralness, malts and bitterness. Aftertaste was floral and bitter. A nice brew with spicy and fruity notes.

330ml bottle from TBS in Moscow. 50th Scottish beer... hah, that only took six years to accomplish. Pours pale yellow with a massive white head. Mad carbonation. Aroma is citrus and malt. Taste is light sweet and malt. Finish is dry and heavy bitter (somewhat like champagne). Strange stuff. I’d like to try an example of the style (Bière de Champagne) from Belgium.
