'Kriekenlambiek' of sour cherries macerated in lambic for 6 months, with 2nd fermentation in bottle. Only sour cherries with kernel (min. 350g/l), with exclusion of juice or syrup. Unfiltered - Unpasteurized.

Aroma has a bunch of tart cherries, moderate funk, and gentle acidity. Flavour is bracingly tart, with intensely puckering sour cherries, light-to-moderate funk, and gentle acetone. Rather bracing, but there is nice cherry character. Very good.

375mL bottle at Grote Dorst. Pours hazy ruby with a white head. Red cherries and some must on the nose. Flavour has tons of tart red cherries, some musty blankets, very tart finish. A bit tarter than I expected, but nice cherry expression.

375ml bottle (2023) @ The Night of The Great Thirst festival, Itterbeek. Pours a cloudy, hazed deep red with a pinkish white cap. Vibrant cherry kriek nose, with natural woody inflections. Nicely harnesses the wild elements alongside a nicely presented cherry character, with a pleasant woody side on the finish. Excellent finish to the festival.

75cl Bottle @ Back in Odense M, Ratebeer Odense Tasting. Pours Dark unclear red with bubbles on top. No pop. Flat. Marzipan. Oxidized. This could potentially be one of the older eylenboschs from the 80’s. Shame.

Ikke helt edruelige notater fra en hyggelig kveld på Våland, med Johan og Egil. Egil har for lengst åpnet importkofferten, og stemningen er på topp mens vi nærmer oss slutten på kveldens program. Nå en 0,375 flaske: klar mørk rubinrød med ok skum. Aroima av gjæret kirsebærsyltetøy og overmoden citrus. Smak av sure kirsebær og tyttebær. Flat munnfølelse. Ikke spesielt sjarmerende, men et nytt bryggeri er et nytt bryggeri.

Bottle shared with Johan and Holmen1 at Vaaland 21.04.24. Red. Some pink hesf. Aroma and tast of pure brett, lemons and sour cherries and raspberries. Very acid, but not much complexity.

[20/2/23] Bottle outside in Brussels. Red. Cherries, mild funk, sour and sweetish. Not too funky but still very good.
