500 ml bottle. Unclear golden with a big fluffy head. Grapefruit, mango, grassy zesty hops, hints of passion fruit, doughy and grainy. Hoppy zesty bitterness, fruity sweetness. Medium to full bodied, oily texture, lively carbonated, hoppy zesty bitter finish. Quite a good hoppy beer, very well made. Not sure on the style though, could be an IPL, IPA or an Imperial Pilsner…

Flasche bei Hopfen und Malz in Berlin gekauft Farbe: leicht trübes Gold gelb. Ungefähr 1 cm breiter Schaum. Aroma: Zitronen Limo, Hopfen, etwas Malz. Geschmack: Hopfen , leicht muffig, wenig bitter. Fruchtiger werdend..

Bottle 50 cl. Pours golden, initially clear, a little hazy later, with a huge and lacing white head with excellent retention - shaving foam style. Lovely piney aroma. Medium body, fairly dry maltiness where the hops are allowed to shine. Decent finishing bitterness. This is how a German IPA should be like, and not the caramel sauce that seems to be the norm. 230820

A really nice mild ipa... the hops are very tasty and subdued but dominate the beer, while the malt body backs it in a very balanced way. Underrated. Bar paradox dresden

500ml bottle. Minimally milky, yellow-ish golden colour with average to huge, frothy, moderately lasting, minimally lacing, white head. Grassy, minimally floral, fruity and citrusy, hoppy aroma hints of overripe nectarine, some mandarine zest, minimally dusty, yeasty overtones. Taste is mellow pale malty, dry and fruity hoppy, hints of yellow stone fruit, unripe peach. Rather unusual, quite interesting fruit profile for an IPA, but sadly in rather weak and cautious effectuation.

Bottle shared at home. Slightly hazy golden with white head. Hop first, sweet malts, weedy, grassy, resiny hops, grapefruit peel, fudge, a bit of old cheese or moldy yoghurt with grilled onions. Hmmm. Tastes better than that sounds. Moderate sweet and bitter. Medium body, buttery malty feel. Lot of soft carbonation. Drinks quite nicely, although that onioniness is becoming more and more apparent. --- Beer merged from original tick of Gersdorfer Ale on 09 Jan 2018 at 12:54 - Score: 6
