Handpull cask at the Blue Boar, Leicester. Amber/brown, clear and flat with a small, uneven, loose off-white head. Grainy, malty aroma with white pepper, tree sap and golden syrup. Sweet and slightly spicy taste which reveals an acidic bitterness closer to the finish. Forest floor notes in the aftertaste. A solid cask amber and not the usual run of the mill.

Tried at the bridge tavern Newcastle. Deep golden to amber colour with a thick white head. Aroma malty and light. Taste light sweet slight tabaco. Not what I expected from a APA

Cask @ Sportsman, Huddersfield. Copper-amber with a glow and a creamy head. Its strength is evident in its robust deeper hoppy aroma and taste.
