Nice purple coloured body with a thinnish, perfectly smooth (nitro of course) pink head that shows at only a centimetre or so in height. Aroma of cream, light grain, a dose of hay and grasses and a very subtle amount of grapes or strawberries - but no blackcurrants noticeable here. Light-bodied; Strong grassy and herbal flavours at first with a strong wheat and dry flavour and a touch of fruits and the sugars associated with those, but a clean and easy-drinking malt presence and just a bit of tartness at the tail end. Aftertaste is crisp, clean and very easy-drinking with the smooth fruity qualities and a dash of wheat and yeast at the tail end. Overall, a pretty nice super mild beer that shows nicely with the nitrogen as it makes it even smoother and softer throughout. A good drink for the summer and nice to sample on nitrogen in the can. I sampled this 13,65 ounce can, purchased from Liqour Outlet in Boonton, New Jersey on 22-September-2018 US$2,49 sampled at home on the Eastern Shore of Virginia on 18-May-2019 in Pungoteague, Virginia.

16 oz nitro cartridge equipped can poured hard. A berry juice like pour, with a flowing nitro creaminess, and a cake of a foam head. Underneath the obvious berry impact, the aroma seems pretty standard for the Cream Ale style. Between aroma and flavor, I don't think this is dominated enough by the blackcurrant to become a full on fruit beer. Thicker body, just barely more than a hint of berry jam like content. Smooth body, and this doesn't get too sweet like I thought it would. Another enjoyable brew from these guys in the nitro category. Good enough for me to wonder why more breweries don't dive into nitro packaging.
