Slightly hazy copper and bronze coloured body with a clearish, bright bronze and orange tint with a thinnish, single to perhaps two centimetre tall tan head. Aroma of grass, light curacao and full oranges with a touch of cleanser, bright yeast, a little candy sugar sweetness and a touch of banana. Medium-bodied; Assertive nutty and peanutty taste with some yeast qualities, a touch of astringent and assertive flavours with more of a biscuity, grainy and pungent flavour without much support, complexity, depth or smooth flavours. Aftertaste shows some biscuits, a lot of grainy malts, a dose of toffee and lightly caramelised sugars with some spiced pear flavours along with a touch of coffee bitterness noticeable on the edges with some complex toffee and grain flavours at the very end. Overall, an interesting and malt-centric, yeastie beer with a lot of nutty and more astringent qualities that make this interesting, if not the best beer for the style or season, but nice to try for sure. I sampled this twelve ounce can purchased from Mac's Beer & Wine in Atlanta, Georgia on 26-May-2018 for US$1,98 in Midtown Atlanta sampled at home in Washington on 30-July-2018.

Draft at Just Tapp’d in Macon. Dark amber with spicy slightly boozy taste. Unpleasant bitter finish.
