Draft sampler at Oggi’s Garden Grove. Copper colored with little head, lightly carbonated. Grapefruit and citrus hops, long bitter finish.

Tap at Oggis Garden Grove. Pours hazy orange amber with a white head. Aroma is pretty much citrus/pine. Near full bodied. Flavor is pine/citrus/floral with a hint of grapefruit. Smooth caramel backbone. Finishes smooth and bitter. Excellent.

Tap. Pours crystal clear golden, small white head, great lacing. Aroma is very light, grass, pine. Flavor is a bit sweet, light bitter, not harsh. Medium body, bit creamy.

Poured up on tap at the Oggi’s in Point Loma and in an aroma killing tumbler too. It has a clear copper body with thin gold edges and supporting a thin dirty white head of foam. The aroma offers up pine hops mixed with malts and a bit of citrus hoppiness. The taste delivers a millisecond of malt sweetness before robust levels of pine hops hit hard along with a moderate degree of grapefruit like citrus hops. The citrusy hops exhibit a bit of flavor hops and quickly get into robust levels of resiny hop bitterness. Solid full flavor IIPA.

Crazily, I still have 2012 GABF notes to enter! Pours a clear copper color with a medium white head. A big nose of lemons and oranges, some light zest. One sided blast of citrus fruits, low bitterness, light finish of earthy malt and bitter lemons. Good.
