Clearish gold with a nice white head. Bright grapefruit and orange. Lots of juicy orange and some nice peel. Huge orange bomb.

Can. Opaque, looks a bit like apricot juice. Just a thin head. I can pretend there's apricot on the nose, but really it's more orangey, along with some estery stuff - the hops and kveik go together pretty well here. Moderate bitterness, some alcohol coming into the finish. The orangey hop note is still there, albeit less prominent than on the aroma. It's not bad, although the idea that this is a west coast IPA is entirely unfounded - the opacity alone disqualifies it, but the character is hybrid at best.

Can from The Gull, North Vancouver
Cloudy golden colour, medium head. Nice aroma, first the piney resins, then some orange peel. Lean mouthfeel, robust and dry; bit of malt base, and strong hop character; again, orange and resins; some white pepper; it has a slight vegetable feeling, also the bitterness is too harsh, and I wonder if it comes from the yeast; lightly metallic in the finish. Not bad, maybe rough; it's a Kveik IPA, devil's idea.

473mL can, pours a cloudy orange with a medium white head. Aroma is full of resinous hops, bitter pine, some candied orange, and citrus zest. Flavour is full of candied orange, resinous hops, quite an intense bitter pine, and resinous notes. There's a nice sweet candied orange and caramel malt character in the back. Bitter and sweet on the finish. A little harsh on the bitterness but it's pleasant. Very good.
