Cask at Royal Standard, Derby (formerly Derby Tap). Pours a slightly hazy golden yellow with a small scummy off-white head. Only a vague aroma of citrus and lemon. In the mouth it wavers between sweet and quite sharp with a juicy texture. Citrus and melon to the fore in the flavour, plus traces of grapefruit and peel. Finish is dry and slightly sticky. Reasonable, but not really my cup of tea.
