  Bock - Doppelbock Autumn
Score
7.01
ABV: 8.7% IBU: 30 Ticks: 8
Our autumn seasonal has become a classic double bock. Slightly warming alcohol with its 8.7% and a distinct malty character. The firm caramel notes and a slightly roasted aftertaste make this double bock a strong, complex beer with a strong drinkable character. Ideal for the colder autumn months

Can from a local bottle shop. Robustly malty with caramel, some toffee, touch of dried fruit. Moderate to medium sweet, light bitter. Body is medium. Solid Bock.

This 33 cl can came from a cooperative and friendly seller in the Netherlands. I will be using a tulip glass from ABGB tonight, thank you very much. A little excitement with the opening, it's okay, it happens. I determine a brown-amber liquid with a reasonable head of taupe foam. I smell very ripe fruit and some grain thrown in. The drink, not bad, sort of a combination between a lager and a Belgian ale. Dark raisins, white bread, caramel and earth. Lightly sweet, nice density.

Can shared thanks to Queenofwhales. Clear amber brown with a tan head. Aroma of rich malt, caramel, toffee, licorice, overripe dark fruits and chocolate notes. Flavour is moderate to heavy sweet and moderate bitter. Medium to light full bodied with soft carbonation.

33 cl. can @ home, bought @ van Rooij, Culemborg.
Dark brown with a tan head. Dark fruit and dark caramel aroma. Sweet taste with a low-bitter sweet finish. A bit thin bodied for such a heavy beer. --- Beer merged from original tick of Dubbelbock on 20 Oct 2021 at 19:31 - Score: Appearance - 6 | Aroma - 8 | Flavor - 8 | Texture - 4 | Overall - 6.
