Hoch über dem Muotathal thront ein imposantes Bergmassiv – der Heubrig. Dort oben wird mit viel Respekt vor der Natur, in reiner Handarbeit und in sehr «gäächem» (steilem) Gelände eine einzigartige Bierzutat geerntet: Schmackhaftes, würziges Wildiheu. Dieses gibt dem Bier seinen unverkennbaren, aromatischen Geschmack! Der Name «Gääch» steht denn auch für die Muotathaler Herkunft und die extremen Bedinungen, unter welchem dieser aussergewöhnliche Rohstoff gewonnen wird.

Bottiglia. Il gusto al naso resta attratto dal fruttato. L'intensità olfattiva è normale e la maniera in cui permane è sufficiente. Il mantello birroso superiore è caratterizzato da una schiuma che resiste poco. La grandezza delle bollicine è medio-fine. Il liquido appare velato. Il colore è giallo paglierino. Il corpo è rotondo. L'amaro è di media potenza. La forza gustativa è normale e la durata è sufficiente. Le sensazioni boccali finali risultano di pronta beva. Il retrogusto è di media intensità. In bocca l'aroma è quello di miele, pane, biscotto, fieno bagnato, erbaceo, agrumi ed erbe aromatiche.

Gold with a creamy, white head. Floral aroma with dough-like undertones. Taste is mildly bitter with a very faint tartness underneath. A touch of hoppy spiciness at the end is reminiscent of Lebkuchen and keeps things interesting. Light-bodied, moderate carbonation. Not bad.
