16 oz. can, pours a deep dark brown / black with a small tan head. Nose is fairly laid back, with dusty dry cocoa, moderate roast and a touch of earthy coffee. Flavour is on the dry and lighter side for the style, with dry cocoa, a touch of earthy coffee, and moderate roast. Very light palate for a 10% impie stout. Not all that complex but it's pleasant enough.

Can. Pours opaque black, medium creamy tan head, great retention and lacing. Aroma is roasty, cocoa, molasses, earth, leather. Flavor is medium sweet, medium bitter, hint of smoke. Roasty. Full body.

16 oz. Aroma is lightly roasty with notes of coffee, chocolate, (light) dark bread. Pours very dark brown to black with a one finger beige head that falls into a ring pretty quickly. Taste is moderately sweet with a lightly bitter edge. Alcohol is hidden extremely well. If I didn’t know any better and someone told me this was in the 5% range I would believe them. Nice velvety mouthfeel. This is fabulous.

16oz can from Brewers Haven. Dark black pour with a fine, thin beige head. Sweet roasty malts in the aroma. taste broadens the spectrum with some brown sugar flavors and chocolate. Nice balance.

16oz can pours out black topped with a tan head. Nose is chocolate sweet notes heavy roast some ash. Taste is more of the nice chocolate notes molasses rich roast.
