Named in honour of the inquisitive and extremely “fursty” ferrets of the Gribble Inn, a celebrated golden brown ale, full of character.
At the heart of many a countryside village can be found an inn. A place where locals go to relax after a long day. At one such inn, rumour has it that inquisitive ferrets would sneak to the back door to cheekily sample the local brew. A sweet nutty palate, hoppy aroma and a hint of Seville oranges, give this tawny amber ale its distinctive personality. Recommended with smooth and creamy West Country Cheddar or indulgent pork pies and mustard.

Bottled, Beertija, Zagreb. Lasting creamy small head on a lovely clear amber body. Generic malty nose, creamy. Empty taste, sourish, malty, very light pollen, bit tangy. The dull hop aftertaste lasts longer than expected. Drinkable overpriced crap.

Pours deep amber with a small head.Nose shows caramel, toffee, butterscotch and some skunky notes.Similar flavours; butterscotch and toffee mainly. A fair bit of diacetyl too. Seems to fall short rather quickly.Too much carbonation.

Appearance: Clear, amber body with a delicate white head that fades quickly to nothing. Very lively carbonation. No lacing.
Taste: Slightly metallic and grainy with a hint of orange. Sweet, malty flavour.
Palate: Thin body with a watery mouthfeel. Fizzy carbonation.
Overall: Pretty harsh and horrible.
Appearance: Clear, amber body with a delicate white head that fades quickly to nothing. Very lively carbonation. No lacing.

Bottled 500ml. -Orange/amber coloured, small off-white head, light cardboard and sugar in the nose. Moderate malty, slight hoppy and herbal with notes of fruits. Pretty dry also. Soft bitterness in the finish. Overall a bit too weak.

Malty, sour smell. Clear copper colour, cream coloured lasting head. Sour. Aroma of apple, some wood and leaves in aftertaste. Also some basement aromas to be noted.
