Bottle at home, courtesy of Jose, thanks man! Pours black with no head. Nose is huge on booze, dark chocolate and roasted malts with a hint of smoke. As it warms the alcohol presence starts to become overwhelmingly offensive tho. Tastewise it’s sweet booze, molasses and chocolate with a hint of bitterness and first warming, then burning alcohol that lasts well into the finish. It has a medium to full body and soft carbonation and would drink well below the ABV, if it wasnt for the overwhelming alchohol. In fact, it’d be a pretty solid RIS, if it wasnt for the overwhelming alcohol, but it’s just too much both in the aroma and taste.

Bottle at Persee, Deventer. Aroma is roasted malt with lots of liquroice, booze, salted liquorice. Sweet, with a roasty salty liquorice finish. Full body. Heavy and boozy. Okay. Too much liquorice for me.

Bottle. A minimalistic dark beige head forms over a more or less black body. The aroma has a good dash of roasted malts, coffee and chocolate. Some licorice and soy sauce. It's full bodied and warming, smooth and softly carbonated, with a nice balance between sweetness and bitterness. Still, it's quite sweet on the palate, with lots of malty flavors. Chocolate, coffee, licorice, roasted malts, some soy sauce and a good dash of alcohol. Lasting finish. Perhaps a bit heavy on the alcohol, but sure a fine brew. 240621

(Keg at Pikkulintu Kontula, 20220924) The beer poured oily and black. Its head was medium sized, lightly brown and it lasted long. Aroma had burnt malts, dark chocolate, cocoa powder and mildly ash. Palate was full bodied and warming with medium carbonation. Flavours were burnt malts, dark chocolate, sweetness, alcohols, ash, cocoa powder and bitterness. Aftertaste had burnt malts, dark chocolate, cocoa powder and bitterness. A boozy brew but the strong and nice flavour kept the booze mainly hidden.

On tap at Axiom Pub Brno. Pitch black coloured, medium sized brown head, chocolate and light alcohol in the nose. Roasted malt, chocolate, light coffee, noticable alcohol and discreet vanilla in the finish. Enjoyable.

Tap at Salon piva 11/2021. Medium body, med-high carbo. Assertive warmth, also med-light high alcohols, solventy. Relatively lacking in terms of malt character, only med-light caramel, sugary. What really hurts this beer is not the abundance of fucking vodka booze, but lack of malty robustness to support it. Comes acroes as poor malt liquor.
