33cl bottle in 't Brugs Beertje on 30th Jan 2020. Amber/orange body, mini-haze to it, on top a white crust. Fruity nose and taste with an orange like lead to both. Pleasant and easy drinking beer, makes a change to find a Belgian beer on a menu at such a low alcohol level and it being fine.

Hazy medium amber colour, huge macropore off-white head, patchy lacing. Aroma pale malt, apricot, tangerine, light pine. Mild taste, medium sweet and bitter, malty, apricot, pomelo, pine resin, spicy notes. Lingering bittersweet aftertaste, orange pith, spicy notes, overall a nice IPA.

Sèche, moyennement aromatique et possédant une amertume un peu agressive font de cette bière uniquement une IPA décente, sans davantage de prétention. En verre nous sommes sur un blond orangé (EBC de 25) légèrement trouble avec une mousse blanche crémeuse de 1 cm. Le nez est sur le fruits exotique, les agrumes et herbacé. Plutôt plaisant bien que simple. A la dégustation, les arômes se simplifient donnant large place à l'amertume. Cette dernière avec 53 d'IBU est cependant quelque peu agressive et pas aussi bien maîtrisée que peut l'être une De Ranke. L'ensemble se tient globalement par contre et l'alcool à 5 % est bien utilisé. Cette amertume légèrement agressive est présente dès l'attaque, une très légère acidité s'allie à elle en plus, sur des arômes d'agrumes, herbacées et une touche épicée. La deuxième bouche est linéaire avec une arrière bouche plus amère. La présence en bouche est très correcte. Le final, d'une longueur un peu juste est sur un duo pamplemousse/herbacé. On en a vite fait le tour tout de même. La brasserie VDCBK survolent trop leur sujet.

Bottle, Brew 18 08, bb 06/2020, shared with Vran. Lovely hazy old gold body, enormous lasting off white head. Aroma...herbs,apple seeds, touch of brown sugar, otherwise dry and strange. Lean, dry taste, herbs, a touch of formic acid, dull malty touch. Sub par.

F: huge, bit tan, very long lasting. C: amber, hazy. A: malty, caramel, toasted onion, vaguely fruity, bready, bit yeasty. T: malty, fruity, orange, grapefruit bitterness, vaguely tropical fruits, spicy, bit caramel, medium body and carbonation is so high that it takes 7min to pour the glass, long lasting bitterness, not so fresh fruity as I expected but good balanced and taste is better than aroma, enjoyed, 33 cl bottle (5%) from Prik&Tik Kampenhout bottle shop in Belgium.

Donkergeel bier met heel veel schuim wat lang blijft staan. Smaak is bitter hoppig en licht zuur met iets van mango en ananas. Erg goed.

Fles gedeelt met Marc. Het is een troebel oranje bier met een volle witte schuimkraag. Het heeft een fruitige hoppige geur. De smaak is vol hoppig en fris bitter.

Slow gusher. Amber colour with thin head. The typical fruity hop notes of an IPA are rather muted. Overly gassy. Much too yeasty.

Bottle at home. Bit hazy light amber with big fluffy off white head. Grapefruit, light caramel, tangerine, light pine, soft yeast notes too. Quite some nice hops, and a nice malty backbone for the low abv. Under medium sweet and bitter. Just medium bodied with quite some carbonation. Pretty good! I had no expectations but this is really nice for a session IPA and it was cheap too. Maybe a bit too much carbonation though.
