Can shared at Zozo's. Black pour with a finger wide beige head. Nose is dark chocolate, cocoa powder, coffee, roasted malts and booze. Taste is sweet booze, chocolate and molasses with some coffee, roasted malts, and hazelnuts. This latter is not as apparent as I'd thought it'd be (or as the name suggests) tho. Closes with a long lasting, warming and sweet, boozy and somewhat dry finish, has a thick, creamy body and soft carbonation.

Can from Beerdome. Aroma is vanilla, roasted malt, some nutty notes, chocolate, caramel, candy, more vanilla. Flavour is quite sweet and sugary with a relatively firm bitterness as well. Full body. Expected (and hoped for!) the nutty aroma to be more striking, considering the name. Not enough nuts!!!!!

Medium sweetness and moderate bitterness. Full bodied, slick, average to soft carbonation. Great milestone beer.

2 August 2021. At Huzaar, Ghent. Shared with the lovely Anke! Cloudy black, big, frothy, dark beige head. Strong aroma of cashew, toasted macadamia, brown bread, chocolate sauce, espresso, prune, burnt caramel, meringue. Taste has sweet fig & prune in a very thick malt body of (dark) chocolate, brown bread & nuts (chestnut, hazelnut, peanut) along earthy-umami teriyaki. Earthy hoppy finish with coffee, fondant, bitter toast & toasted nuts again, dash of warming whisky alcohol. Full body, creamy texture, soft carbonation. Massive Pastry Stout, with the nuts adding sufficient 'dryness'.

0,473l can from Beerdome online store. BBE 10/2021. Pours black colour with very dark brown medium head. Aroma has dark roasted malts, nuts, vanilla, chocolate and caramel. Flavor has sweet roasted malts, coffee, vanilla, some nuts (not too many). Quite heavy, strong bitter flavor at the end. Good, alcohol well hiding.

473ml can. Jet black colou rwith average to huge, frothy, osteoporosing, minimally lacing, brown head. Roasty, chocolately and slightly nutty, dark malty aroma, notes of cocoa, a touch of coffee, roasted nuts, caramelised almonds, vanilla. Taste is sweet, nutty, caramel malty as well chocolately dark malty, notes of toasted nuts, caramelised almonds, vanilla, bitter, slightly resinous, hoppy counterpart. Slightly oily texture, dry, repellent, nevertheless minimally cloying palate, medium to coarse, prickly carbonation. Nice nutty and malty aroma, rather mismatching/un-embedded hop flavours, slightly overcarbonated, a tad too sweet - not convincing.
