Dark brown in color with a small tan head. Aroma is heavily chocolate. Taste is also chocolate with hints of coffee and dark roasted grains.

Pint can thanks to hershiser2! 6/18/22. Near black, medium brown head, good retention. Aroma of chocolate, roast, nuts. Taste is roast, peanut butter, chocolate, hint of cherry. Reminds me of Reese's Pieces. Thin. Decent.

Just…weird. Deep lingering chocolate nites mix with an unexpected bright berry acidity and caramel. Adds peanut hulls and an almost minty undertone on the back end. Finishes roasty and java-ish, with a lasting coffee bitterness on the finish. Spiky texture and thin body seem off for the style.

Super deep dark brown and almost pure black coloured body with a thickish, two to three centimetre tall lighter brown head that does end up fading fairly quickly, but still leaving a small, single centimetre tall or even smaller lace on top that shows some creaminess. Aroma of roasted malts, marshmallows, caster sugar, lactose, a big hit of brownie batter (somehow?!?) with a good deal of molasses and unfinished sugars, but there is also some noticeable alcohol and richness from the sugars still at play. Full-bodied; Rich chocolate flavours dominate with a lot of roasted malts, some vanilla, coffee, earth, toffee and a bunch more pure chocolate and brownie notes with a lot of sweetness, but also a good deal of alcohol and richness even at the end. Aftertaste shows some earthy and pungent grainy, robust oatmeal and toffee flavours with a bunch of chocolate, cocoa, marshmallow and creamy notes with a lot of punch, especially from the chocolate and grainy notes. Overall, a nice and enjoyable, super rich and chocolatey beer that shows some good sweetness, but also a pungent amount of alcohol and body, but great for the season! I sampled this sixteen ounce, pint-sized can, purchased from Wegman's in McLean, Virginia on 23-January-2021 for US$1,99 sampled at my house here in Washington almost a full year later on 22-December-2021.

Nutty cocoa malt and straw aroma. Dark brown with tan head. Moderately sweet cocoa malt, and mildly bitter dry hay flavor. Good body. Nice.
