Wild Ale with the addition of Moravian red and black currant aged in oak barrels. It is a spontaneously fermented beer that evokes a whole range of fruity sour flavors that are in harmony with the beer's original malt base.

Bottled. Dark red body, pinkish head. Big tart berry aroma, it seemed slightly more like cherry, fairly simple. The taste, however, is where it shines even more, dry notes, berry dominates, rhubarb, orange peel, oaky notes, all over the place in a good way, clean, all in all definitely a winner by Wild Creatures.

Huge flamingo head over clear, burgundy red beer. Intense fruitnose with cassis and cypress, other red fruit, green leaves, cilandro. Sour, lactic acid, jumble of fruitesters - here more red- than blackcurrant, which returns stronger in the finish; again all fruit beautifully integrated in the beer. Wood retronasal, and a special kind of wood (cedar? cypress?), finally something earthy as beetroot. Lipsmacking acidity, not really light body, as the fruit fills in in force. And yet another amazing beer, overwhelming. Both tasters wonder about the basic beer, would be tantalizing to compare.

Bottle. Color: Hazy dark purplish red, pink head. Aroma: Tart, funky, subtle fruity blackcurrant. Taste: Moderate to over moderate tart, moderate sweet, farmyard and lightly leathery funk, fruity red-and blackcurrant. Subtle wood notes. Very lightly vinuous. Quite smooth and dense, almost creamy mouthfeel. Dry. Over medium body, below average carbonation. Long lasing finish. Very nice.
