We fired up the video chat and developed this tasty citrus pale ale with our friends Field House from Abbotsford!
With additions of lemon, lime and grapefruit zest, fresh squeezed juice as well as puree, this beer bursts with the tangy notes of our citric melange.
Exceedingly bright and refreshing on the first sip, giving way to gentle pithiness and subtle pine hop notes. Mellow tartness and full mouthfeel help Grove linger on your palate until sip number two.

On tap at Darby's, pours an opaque cloudy peachy yellow with a small white head. Nose reveals a lot of citrus and grapefruit pith, with not much else discernible. Flavour is very lemony, with lots of citrus notes. There's not much else to this. It pretty much hits one note and it's not all that interesting.

Opaque. No head. Light lime note. Malts aren't great. It's light and refreshing, a bit muddled. Not bad but seems like this could be quite a bit better.

Cloudy yellow body and little foam. Soft hoppiness on the nose that comes across like mountain dew. Flavour is floor cleaner mixed with lemon soda; perhaps they though lemon zest and hops would work well together, and perhaps they do, but I can't escape that cleaning product vibe on this one.

Hazy gold with a decent white head. Lemon lime citrus. Lime and lemon with a light citrus finish.
