Roasted, nutty malt aroma. A little oak comes through too. Flavour is quite bitter from the roasted malt. Hop freshness comes through at the end.

Bottle at home with Lyoli. Pours clear gold with a modest, white head. Some honey, malts and yeast on the nose. Flavor is lightly sweet, faintly bready with some kind of tart citrus. Light to medium in body with lively carbonation. Finishes very crisp with fine, citrus bitters, mild sugars and hints of alcohol. Decent.

Bottle: Golden with a orangey sheen, hazy, lively carbonation, small and stable off-white head; quite distinctive fruity-bready nose with faint traces of lemon peel; moderate bitter-sweet flavour, light to medium bodied, relatively soft; slightly lingering fruity-hoppy finish with bready and lemony flavours. Decent english stuff....

Biggish offwhite head. Light amber body with carbonation. Light fruity earthy toffee aroma with resiny notes. Dry-sweet earthy fruity floral taste with toffee notes. Mild mouthfeel. Light body. Dry earthy grapes and wild berries aftertaste with dusty papery notes. Fairly bitter. Nice, drinkable, and a bit unusual. (0.5 bottle, Sainsburyโ€™s, London.)

Bottle. Sweet orange and barley malt aroma. Golden yellow color with large head. Sweet orange, barley malt and lightly bitter herbal hops flavor. Nice easy drinking beer - slightly tart but nowhere near as tart as the cask version.

Apple cider vinegar malt aroma. Clear golden yellow color with small head. Slightly sweet lemon and apple cider vinegar malt flavor. Decent body - very unusual - never had an English beer this tart. Actually approaches the sourness of a Belgian sour.

500ml bottle. Pours amber with a large head. Aroma is malt and some grassy hops. Some malt and hops in there, but not much on the taste. A good bear could be coaxed out of this, but this is nothing special.

2nd May 2010. On tap at pub somewhere in Essex! Gold beer with a light haze. Light semi dry palate. Fresh and fruity. Zesty orange with a trace of tea. A litte grapefruit on the back of the tongue. Not bad at all. Refreshing and very drinkable.
