We love IPAs, so of course we had to make one. Brewed with a little bit of wheat and influenced by both the lush Northeast IPAs and the OG’s of the California Coast, Embarrassment of Riches is a culmination of our favourite American hop varieties in one nice little package.

355 ml can. Pours a turbid chalky amber with moderate head. Aromas of orange juice, mango and wet wheat. Flavors of dried mango, burnt citrus, dry dank hops, sharp wheaty malts and plastic. At odds. Might be very old though; can’t read date on bottom.

Hazy gold with a small white head. Citrus and light mango notes. Bitter and grassy.

Opaque, pale, medium head. Weed, pine and overripe papaya on the nose. On the palate, medium bitterness, a kiss of malt sweetness, and mostly cannabis sort of hops. Solid IPA that seems to be trying to put a little haze on a classic PNW IPA structure. It’s a really good idea, and while these particular hops seem overly grassy to me, I think you could play with a lot of hop blends over top of this base and have a ton of fun with that. The two I’d like to see most are old school all-CTZ, or full-on experimental using H. Blanc and some crazy shit like Super Styrian, just to see what happens.

Good cloudy yellow body with mellow foam. Aroma's an excellent meld of weedy hops and sweet candied pineapple. Flavour's good bitter hops, soft sweet chalk, finishes full and oily. A very nice juicy hoppy IPA.

Poured from the tap. Cloudy blonde-ish gold with white head. Definitely dank and oily. Hint of grain with biscuit malt, bitter citrus hops. Well done.

On tap at Studio, pours a cloudy golden with a small white head. Aroma brings out dank hops, plenty of earthy notes, toasted grains, and crisp biscuity malt. Flavour is dank and oily, with a wonderful expression of pot-like dank hops, some oily resins, and crisp biscuity malt. Finishes meta-dank with a pronounced bitterness—beautifully married west and east coast in this respect. Excellent.

Draught at the brewery
Cloudy to murky blond colour. A bit fruity, but not as much as most NEIPA s, the soul is more west coast, dry, lean, some crisp malt, no chalky nonsense, and a robust citrus peel bitterness. Nice.
