Part of our Heritage Sour Series, a special sour released once a quarter. This time we're using comforting, sweet and dark cherries and plums for a dark, deep and intensely rich sour beer. Adding a sweet jamminess from the juicy fruits, the addition of cherrywood will be the wood aged element to this which adds an earthy and slight spiced edge to lift the dry finish.

On keg at Hoptimism. Purplish colour with a pinkish head. Aroma and taste are tart fruity cherry. Smooth crisp body.

Can at home picked up from HB&B. An attractive deep plummy red purple coloured pour with a lasting fine light pink fizz. Aroma is nice tart plum,. red berries, woody raspberry, peppery notes. Flavour is composed of bitter red berries, woody cherry, bitter woody berries. Palate is tart, woody tannins, highish fizzy carbonation,

Can at home in Hackney - sourced from HB&B. Pours cloudy red-purple-pink with a foamy white head. Fairly clean overall, some assertive tartness, cherries, mild sweetness, nips of herbs, lemon. Light bodied with active, massaging carbonation. Quenching finish, more berry tartness, some citric bite, a little salt. Nice one.

Keg at the Rusty Bucket, Eltham. Hazy red pour with a light pink head. Strawberry jam,raspberry,red cherry nose. Taste is raspberry jam,strawberry chews,tart red fruit. Nice.
