Aromas are apple cider, yeast and currants. Flavors are similar to nose and a bit more tart than sweet. Okay buddy it with good carbonation. Mildly tart finish.

Single from Appalachian. Label still says Shelton, so is this old stock? Peckham's Instagram thinks so. Rare Vos glass @home. Clear, purple, grape juice, quick & frothy purple-pink soda head. Smells deeply of concord grape & some juice box apple. Sweet n sour, intense currant/concord, slight earthy twang. Middle is bittersharp non-descript apples, decent pith, veg, very vinous, faint tartness, grape popsicle sweetness, lots of texture & dry mouth on the somewhat hidden acidic finish. Probably too sweet & it leans hard on two notes, but has good contrast.

Not kir but just cider with blackcurrant. Can at Volstead. Clear deep purple with short lasting light purple head. Lots of sweet and tart black currants, dry apple, light tart apple, apple peel, soft earthy, green apples. Just lots of nice apple and black currants with light fermentation notes. Under medium sweet and sour, very light bitter. Over light bodied. Very nice.

500ml bottle. 5.1%. Dark red colour, short-lived fizzy pink foam head and fruity blackcurrant aroma. Taste is sweet, blackcurrant, apple, tart, formic acid, citric, woody, red wine, drying. Smooth mouthfeel, medium bodied, soft carbonation, dry tart finish. Nicely drinkable.

Bottle at WTF 3. Pours a clear ruby with no head. The aroma is strong currant, oak, apple skin. Medium body, jammy, currants, apple, nice sourness, really enjoyed this.
