16/12/2022. Draught at Briarbank, Ipswich. Pours very dark brown with a small beige coloured head. Aroma is very sweet marshmallow, milk chocolate, light roasted malt, biscuit, lactose sugars. Quite heavy sweetness, mellow roasted bitterness. Medium body, creamy, soft carbonation. Enjoyable sweetness.

440ml can from the brewery. Poured clear dark brown colour with a mostly lasting frothy off-white head. The aroma is roasty malt, big marshmallow. The flavour is moderate to light sweet, with a smooth, slightly light, roasty, chocolate, fake sugar, marshmallow palate. Medium bodied with soft carbonation.

Gravity cask at the Blue Boar, Leicester. Dark brown, translucent with a loose beige/khaki head. Deep chocolate fudge aroma with a bit of caramel. Sweet taste with a touch of salted caramel giving balance. But man, this is a sweet beer. Oily body, no carbonation.

Black beer, decent off white head. Does genuinely have a marshmallowy smell to it. Flavour is lactose, chocolate some malt and a little tangy sweetness in there too. Not bad, this.

Tried at the York Beer Festival. Black colour with a tan head. Aroma sweet malty and buscuit. Taste also sweet maybe it’s the marshmallows with roasted malty bitterness. Full body.

Leeds Beer Festival 2019. Very dark with chocolate orange prevalent, and pleasantly palatable in both aroma and taste.
