Another best seller at the taproom, now available in can conditioned format. Fruity esters from the English Ale Yeast combine with Bramling Cross Hops to give fruit cake notes in this classic strong bitter. Also makes an excellent shandy.

Sample thanks to Grumbo: Poured a unclear orange brown with a off white head. Aroma is malty, tinge of butter. Taste is bitter forward that is relieved by malts.

23/1/2021. Fresh crowler shared at the first Ipswich Lockdown 3.0 virtual bottle share. From Tom's Tap & Brewhouse, Crewe. Pours slightly hazy amber with a small frothy white head. Aroma of toffee, biscuit, brown sugar, fruit and veg. Medium sweetness, light bitterness. Moderate body, slight watery/oily texture, soft carbonation. Liked this.
