Bottle from an Edeka in Rothenburg. Pours hazy dark brown to black with an, unstable, thin, frothy, beige head that dissipates completely. Aroma of milk chocolate, praliné, mocha, peanut, raisin, caramel, black tea. Taste is light malty sweet, chocolatey & nutty, and medium herbal bitter, a bit roasted with mocha but 'bland' coffee pad too. Dryish, toasty finish, slightly herbal hoppy, lingering fondant & coffee pad again. Medium body, slick, almost oily texture, fizzy carbonation. Sessionable indeed, but rather forgettable too.

Marrón oscura de notas rojizas. No mucha espuma, poco duradera. Aroma ahumado. En boca pasa fácil, cuerpo ligero. Sabor ligeramente ahumado, tono licórico y notas de chocolate.

A nice balance of chocolate and roasted malts. Could have more body forward malts to round out the flavour and lend to a more rich mouthfeel. Zapfanstalt dresden

Black with lasting creamy head. Aroma and flavour have some bittersweet dark malts. Very creamy texture. Definitely some light chocolate sweetness. Also a bit nutty.

330mml. bottle. Tasted on the 29/07/2018 at "Parcelas". Black cola color with a medium dense tan head. Aroma is full of dark chocolate, hazelnuts, roasted malts and cocoa nibs. Taste is again full of cocoa and hazelnuts. Fine carbonation and medium body. Dry finish. Next one please!

Tap. Dark brown to black. Very chocolaty nose, some roasty malts. Flavor is sweet and thin, chocolate and brown sugar and a bit of coffee. Ok but q bit disappointing.

On tap at Zagreb Beer Fest, Keglić. Dark brown, small to medium off-white head. Roasty and chocolate aromas. Nice nutty and toasty. Very light fruit. Some caramel malts. Very nice balance. Sweet, fruity, some alcohol. Good drinkability. Medium body, soft texture. Moderately lasting aromatic finish. Good.
