Cask at CBC, Covent Garden on 25th May 2024. Slightly hazy copper with shallow foam and full lacing. Caramel malt aroma. Tangy and sweet fruits in-mouth and a blend of malt and fruitiness dominates the finish. Light bodied with a smooth mouthfeel.

500ml bottle: BB 24th October 2024, obtained from Darts Farm in Devon. Tried to drink it at home on 15th January 2024. Moody, unclear muddy brown, bottle skunked by bright lighting maybe? Anyway no head and it's sad all round and a drain pour!

Cask at Bird in Hand, Stafford. THIS BEER WAS WELL PAST IT’S BEST – NEEDS A RERATE. Pours a slightly hazy golden brown with a small almost white head and good lacing. The aroma has malts and yeast. In the mouth is fruity with a creamy texture, but the overall taste varied between sharp and slightly sweet. Flavours of chestnuts and Werthers Original sweets. Finish is somewhat bitter.

500ml bottle. Poured a clear medium amber colour with a big fizzy white head. The aroma is malt, light toffee. The flavour is moderate bitter, very light sweet, with a malt, toffee, earthy, woody hop bitter palate. Medium bodied with lively carbonation. A solid session ale.
