Bottle online from Beers Of Europe. Pours a clear chestnut brown colour with a large foamy off white head. Aromas of toffee & caramel, red berries and doughy bread. Taste has more toffee, caramel, doughy bread and red berries with added strawberry jam. Another reviewer mentioned stewed fruit which is a good description also. Has a touch of sweetness which is nicely balanced out with carbonation and a tangy hop on the finish. Thin to medium body and slightly fizzy (spritzy) mouthfeel. Not bad at all . Good effort.

Bottle. Ringstead Stores, Ringstead, Norfolk. Clear reddy amber. Decent off white head. Nose has stewed fruit and buttered toast. Some leafy hop. Taste has a biscuity sweetness. Gets a little dry and is big on the leafy hop bitterness. Decent body albeit with slightly over the top carbonation. Lengthy bitterness to finish. Very enjoyable beer sitting in front of the fire while it snows like fuck outside.

500ml bottle: BB 28th Sep 2021. Drank at home on Boxing Day 2020. Poured into an Old speckled Hen pint vase. Clean amber body, red hue; on top a thin off-white set of bubbles. Thought this was going to be malty but the hops rule the flavours, although the Rye content isn't there just for the colour. Lemon and orange peel mentioned on the label and it is a little pithy I suppose, not too sure what 'Garden Tea' is, but that's in it too!
