Cask at Pig's Ear. Keg at the brew bar. Near clear dark brown beer, small bubbly pale tan head. Airy palate, semi dry, reasonable fine carbonation. Mellow dark malts, light creamy dark malts, a touch of dark chocolate. Mellow bourbon. A little barrel induced vanilla. Tangy bourbon soaked fruits on the back end. Strange brew, nothing wrong with it whatsoever and, yet, it fails to satisfy on every level. Light finish, some dark malt tang and slightly watery bourbon. Doesn't impress, but neither does it offend.

1/3 pint, 10 % abv, tap, shared with Finn at Hackney Church Brew. Black in the glass, bubbly patches on the surface, scattered lacing. Inviting roasted aroma, moments of dark bread and chocolate. Rich malt-driven taste of chocolate, syrup and nuts alongside a vibe of dark fruits. Roasted dark chocolate ending, not overly sweet. Full bodied, decent slow sipper. (London 17.11.2021).

Delt med Rune. Svart. Lavt tett mokkafarget skum. Litt lacing. Aroma av svisker & røstet malt. Smaken søt frukt. Balansert. Tørr, fruktig bitter avslutning. Alkoholen lusker i bakgrunnen.

Tap at taproom. Opaque black colour, small steady brownish head. Toasted, licorice in the nose. Medium-bodied. Flavour is also toasted with some licorice. Nice licorice bite in the finish but otherwise quite simple.
