Keg at Moor Vaults, Bermondsey, 31/01/20. Lightly hazed chestnut brown with a well presented beige cap. Nose is stewed fruits, toffee fudge, whisky soaked oak, leather, dates, light spice. Taste comprises brown sugars, fruit cake, toffee, good whisky interplay, figs, dark malts, candied fruit peel. Medium plus bodied, fine carbonation, semi drying close with a mellow, well integrated, whisky repost and balanced rising boost. Solid BA affair ... drinks well for the ABV.

Keg at the Moor Vault - Bermondsey. Pours deep brown with a bubbly, khaki head. Rich, fairly sweet, some hearty stewed apples, toffee, well ripened dark fruits, plums, figs. Full bodied, lightly chewy, with fine carbonation. Lightly warming finish, a little sticky, some pudding, more toffee, toasted brown bread. Really nice stuff.
