The second iteration of our NEIPA series focuses on Mosaic hops. A blend of Mosaic and Cascade in the boil, a soft juicy malt base, and a heavy Mosaic dry hop all combine with the New England yeast strain for a mango and peach juice flavour.

Draft at Cherry Reds, Birmingham. Enjoyed this one. Pours a hazy orange with good sized white head. Its quite tropical with pineapple, mango and papaya flavours as well as a light grain and mineral edge to it. Medium bodied, semi-drying. Tasty.

The flavour is moderate bitter, light sweet, with a fresh, crisp, light hop burn, tropical citrus, mineral, dry hop bitter palate. Medium bodied with average to soft carbonation.

Can. 7.0%. Not a friggin APA! Hazy orange beer, small pale cream colour head. Palate is smooth and semi dry, decent fine minerally carbation. Smooth malts, a light creamy sweetness. Hops bring mild spice, a whisper of skunk. Slightly resinous citrus. Ripe grapefruit and orange. Touch of tropicals. Mild bitternes on the finish. A very satisfying IPA without ever being anything out the ordinary.
