This robust amber 6% New World IPA was brewed for when things get tough. The tropical and citrus kick from Magnum, Chinook and Mosaic hops is a reminder that surrender isn't an option.

330ml can, bought at Docks Beer, and shared with Finn on the train from Grimsby to Newark. Pours a frothy white head leaving upper part lacing on the glass, hazy golden body. Inviting aromas of orange. Sappy orange to the taste character, juicy malts beneath. A piney touch to a light bitter finish. Likeable. (15.10.2022).

440ml can from Co-Op Louth, watching Witchfinder General. Pours a generally clear gold with a fluffy white head. Lightly citrus nose. Comes across light, pleasantly hoppy, balanced and nicely sessionable, if a little mild by modern IPA standards.

Can. Craft & Berry, Sheffield. Moderate haze on a medium gold. Thin suds of white. Nose has spicy biscuit grain. Ripe pear and stone fruit. Taste is super sweet. Light estery fruit bitterness. Medium body. Fine carbonation. Lingering bitterness to finish. Decent, although it seems a tad stale overall, to be honest.
