On cask at the brewpub, pour is a clear dark orange with some creamy, white head. Nose has yeast, dough, a little butter, a little orange, some perfume. Flavor is just malty and doughy, orange. Creamy finish.

On cask at the Ship Inn. Appearance - amber with a decent head. Nose - caramel and maybe some apple or grapes. Taste - more toffee apple with a touch of biscuit. Palate - light to medium bodied with a creamy texture and a fairly good finish. Overall - it’s ok but I couldn’t distinguish it from 100s of other English Bitters.

Bob picked this up from the brewpub, cheers Bob. Consumed outside Frank (camper) at Cropredy Fairport festival 8th August 2013 Pours mid amber with white head. Traditional bitter with toffee, reasonably bitter, lacks hoppiness but then it is a traditional bitter. Ok. A6 A4 T5 P3 Ov10 2.8
