Slamming new world hops in the face of rich, roasty malts, Loch & Key begins the ressurection of Black IPAs, bigly. Vibrant fruit notes from a combination of some of the most banging hops in our locker (Citra, Mosaic, Nelson & Eureka) play with the bitter toasty flavours of dark malt. It's great.

We brewed it with Tom from London's House Brewery. He's good people.

Craft Angel. Cask. Clear deep amber - red beer, small bubbly pale tan head. Light palate, semi dry, decent fine carbonation. Thin and slightly tangy dark malts, a vague earthyness. Mellow pine. Bitterish floralness. Mild red berries. Light dry finish. Not bad and decent combination.

Tried at BeerHeadz, Lincoln. Back colour with a tight tan coloured head. Aroma light smike and slightly fruity. Taste light sweet, to slight smoke and a mid bitter finish. Full rich body.
