Pale Ale - American Style / APA Regular
Score
6.27
ABV: 4.8% IBU: - Ticks: 6
A premium U.S. pale/amber ale at 4.8% featuring Mosaic & Centennial aroma hops. This popular style of American ale whilst being moderately hopped is not overwhelming. Its subtle sweetness carries the taste experience through to allow for the appreciation of the five types of specialty & pale malts. Again a very easy drinking well balanced brew with a clean finish.

Gravity fed third of a pint, Bridgnorth CAMRA Beer Festival, 8th September 2023. Clean golden pour, white crown. Light citrus hop aroma and taste, some piney notes arrive as it warms, decent enough.

Cask at Peacock, Derby. Couldn’t detect much nose at all on this one. Pours a classic gold with a small white head and good lacing. Bit of a mish-mash in the mouth. It is bitter with hops and corn, but also sweet with discuit malts, yet again spicy with hints of ginger. The bitterness wins out in bthe finish. Pleasant enough I suppose.
