Deep dark brown, near black with a tinge of red, a creamy tan head and a roasted malt and cherry aroma. Smooth and creamy, roasted malt with tart cherries cutting in ahead of a dry and bitter finish.

Handpull cask at the Kings Head, Leicester. Dark reddish brown, slightly translucent with s mall beige/khaki head. Aroma of cherry, balsamic vinegar,, black malts. Taste is sweet and savoury and maybe slightly sour, more cherry and a dash of Hendo's. Light body, little carbonation. Just does not do it for me.

Cask at Shrewsbury Arms, Stafford. Pours a very dark reddish-brown with a small frothy cream head. There’s a strong aroma of cherries here, plus a little of roasted malts. In the mouth it fluctuates between sweet and sharp, with cherry being the dominant flavour in both extremes. Also some cola and hints of vanilla. This is decent, although it’s a bit of a one trick pony.

Cask at the Peterborough beer Festival 2019. A hazed mid brown coloured pour with a halo of beige head. Aroma is sweet jammy fruits, marshmallow, rose petal, milk choc. Flavour is composed of semi sweet, tangy jammy fruits, jammy wagon wheel, vanilla, earthy chocolate. Palate is semi sweet, light tang, oily moderate carbonation. Ok.
