Sim Cit-E is our latest new Beta release - an American pale ale dosed with silly quantities of Simcoe and Citra hops, two of our favourite US varieties. Big dollops of citrus, mango and pine flavours colliding to give a truly refreshing pale ale.

Third, beer flight at Brew York in Leeds. Stable white head, unclear grey-golden body, spotty lacing. Inviting peachy nose, hints of citrus. Similar taste of peaches, ripe citrus, and a bite of juicy malts. Mid-dry citrus bitterness to the finish. Medium bodied. Pretty fair. (Leeds 06.07.2022).

Freebie from Eltham Wines, apparently this was part of a substandard batch. Murky golden brown pour with a white head. Peach, mango, pear, pineapple aromas. Taste is pink grapefruit, tangerine, peach, more mango. Long citrus laden finish. Refreshing. Didn't turn out too bad at all.

Can from The Made Inn Ashford and drunk on a picnic blanket. Hazy pale gold colour lasting white head. Citrus pale ale bit light on malts. It's an ok citrusy pale ale. Like the citra and simcoe just needs a bit more backbone.
