Provning med PQ på krokius. Doftar åhhh körsbär och lite friskt vitt vin. I munnen fiiiiiin körsbär och körsbär med lite vanilj och avslutas med choklad. Bra bra imp Stout.

Russet yellow head, gone in seconds over dirty dark brown beer with yellowish highlights. Vanilla a mile out. Cherry ganache in black chocolate, roast. Brown maltbread. Again mainly black chocolate, chocolatemalt, and rich cherry ganache. Almonds, fleeting hint at tobacco. Bitterish with a nice, fruity-roasty lining. Less vanilla than in the nose. Chewy; long-lasting cherry-like flavours. Slick, but not really viscous. Low on carbonation. Nice. Of course, AD 2019 a Stout cannot taste of stout any longer...

Tap at TCBW. Pours dark brown-black. Aroma and flavor are sweet, bitter, roast, malt, cocoa, chocolate. Overall: ok.

Bottle. Beer Stop, Dronfield. Muddy brown. No head. Nose has Neapolitan ice cream. Bit of jarring, peachy hop. Taste is similarly jarring, with an Easter egg chocolate sweetness, and a harsh, tart, fruity bitterness. Sticky on the palate. Low carbonation. Medium body. Long, fruity bitter finish. Grim, and add on the mahoosive price tag, it’s even grimmer.

Chocolate, vanilla, sour cherry, nuts, light sherry. Thick and flat, very much like a liquid dessert. 4.1
