Pours the classic “bitter brown” with a small white head. A distinctive nose with marzipan and nuts. In the mouth the texture is creamy with flavours of grains and berry fruits plus hints of caramel. The finish is quite malty. This is just a standard bitter, and as such perfectly reasonable.

Cask handpump at The Bunny Hop, Langley Mill, Derbyshire, Saturday 22nd April 2017 in the company of Dad and Pauline. Pours reddy amber with a white head, typical fruity bitter. A touch thin it’s fine but a touch too twig’esque’. A6 A4 T5 P5 Ov12 3.0
