Bottle @ Abel Heywood, Manchester. Clear golden with a small head. Crisp well balanced ale with both hops and malt evident. Full-bodied with a bitterness to it.

Hand-pulled pint in Ye Olde Fighting Cocks, Oakengates on 17th feb 2014. Pump clip has Lowry’s painting of the Mill, hence the beers name. Pours a light amber to gold colour, the head off-white and full. Bready yeast and malt feel to both the nose and taste, good hop interjection within the flavours: fruity notes arrive mid-sip, a pleasant if unchallenging blend. Medium bodied with a slightly drying finish.
