Cask at Sun, Stafford Pours a classic bitter brown with a strong white head. Nose is vaguely citrus with some malt. In the mouth the taste is nutty with oranges and other generally citrus. Finish starts off as simply bitter – but later on degenerates into a really disgusting taste – industrial floor cleaner ?! Not bad – until you reach the end !

On cask at the Guildford Arms. Appearance - deep amber to brown. Nose - toffee and burnt bread. Taste - toffee going into golden syrup. More bread. Palate - creamy and sweet through the middle. Dry-ish finish. Overall - could be drier but still good.

Cask gravity at Ale And Bakehouse Westgate-on-Sea. Mid to light brown colour. A earthy nettley beer typical of Wantsum. Nettle sting finish. English earthyness too. Malts are ok if a touch unrefined. A typical Wantsum beer and if you like their house style you will like this.
