Light haze on this gold beer, small pale cream colour head. Palate is light and a little crisp. Fairly clean pale malts, a very modest sweetness. Light floral bitter hops and very light citrus. Light finish. Fairly clean but also a bit dull, severely lacking hop punch.

500ml bottle from Beers of Europe. Pours clear golden amber with a thin white head. Aromas of malt, resin, boiled sweets. Taste is bitter, light toffee. Sweet finish.

Bottle from brewery. Amber Colour no head. Or anger and sweet caramel aroma. The taste slight sweet too. Nice, but a touch thin.

Half-pint at the 2014 Lincoln Beer Festival. Nice amber body with a good white covering that gave some heavy lacing. Not as bitter or hop tasting as I thought it would be with 4 US hop varieties involved. It came across semi-sweet with a mild citrus note or two, not the ’hop bomb’ I hoped for though. Pleasant enough and very easy on the palate, my second favourite beer of the festival according to my notebook.
