Cask at High Cross Inn, Broughton-in-Furness. Golden/copper, with a large cream-coloured head. Malty aroma. A bit metallic with some gentle floral notes. Quite sweet in the taste, but becomes slightly more bitter at the end of the sip. More metal and hints of mead in the aftertaste. Nothing special but certainly drinkable.

Cask @ Cask, Manchester. Clear golden with a small creamy head. Malty nose, with a lightly malty taste and fairly crisp. Session stuff.
