Cask at Palmerston Arms, Peterborough. Pours golden towards amber with an off-white cap. Aroma: grains, bread, caramel, earthy, grassy, hedgerow hops. The taste follows, light sweet & bitter. Light to medium body with soft carbonation. Dry finish

Gravity cask at the Draymans Son, Ely. Clear tawny beer with a frothy white head. Sharp wormwoody grassy aroma. Intense taste with some underlying fruity hop sweetness. Very bitter finish. Grows on me, but it’s not one of Nene Valley’s more spectacular efforts.

Bottle from bistro in Market Deeping. Pale golden colour with slight white head. Nice fruit aroma and a hoppy bitter finish make it a nice IPA. at only 3.8% this is a very drinkable beer.
